Was supposed to be a blog that lasted through Lent years ago. Now it's for me to share the things I do in life, like working on losing weight and getting into killer shape. Still not done...

Almost...Almost
Thesis is almost done. Due date=Monday. I can do this. Heck, if I can run a half marathon, I can finish this beast, right? Once it's done and turned in, I'll be on here on a more regular basis. I have great pics from 'Dega. And I want to see how y'all are doing with starting and all.

How to start
I know some of y'all are wondering how to start this whole running thing. This month's Runner's World has a section dedicated to a beginner's guide. You should check it out. Gives a great intro to running and how to start (walk/run). I also recommend a good sports bra (makes a HUGE difference) and invest in a pair of solid running shoes. There are plenty of good running stores that can help you find a good fit. I can ask my friends who just started running how they started (since I basically did a crash course). Any specific things you want to know, let me know and I can ask around. Y'all can definitely do it.
